How do I change the sign on the force reading from a sensor or load cell?

Depending on the application for the analysis of forces, you may desire to change the sense of the positive direction for a force sensor or a load cell.

This video shows how to change the sign of the load cell within the Capstone software through the sensor settings.

It is also possible to change the sign of the readings through the calculator. 

The attached workbook has the load cells with both sign conventions included. If the sensors that you are using are different than those within the workbook, you can replace the sensors within the workbook using the previous link.
