Ball is shot into the Ball Catcher mounted on a rotatable meter stick.
The Half-Meter Stick with Ball Catcher is mounted so it swings in the vertical plane, forming a ballistic pendulum.
The Ball Catcher also fits on the end of a meter stick to do conservation of angular momentum experiments and to create a ballistic pendulum.

Product Summary
The Ball Catcher mounts on a dynamics cart or a rotating meter stick to catch a ball shot from a projectile launcher.
The Ball Catcher has adjustable sides to accommodate 1-inch plastic balls from the Projectile Launcher (ME-6800) or 5/8-inch steel balls from the Mini Launcher (ME-6825B).
The Ball Catcher fits onto any PASCO dynamics cart or Smart Cart.
The Ball Catcher can also slide onto a PASCO Half-Meter Stick (ME-7044) and is fixed in place with a screw. When the half-meter stick is equipped with the meter stick clamp from the Meter Stick Torque Mass Hanger Set (ME-7035), the half-meter stick can be mounted on a rotary motion sensor to rotate in the horizontal plane when a ball is shot into the Ball Catcher.
The half-meter stick on a rotary motion sensor can also be oriented in the vertical plane to form a ballistic pendulum.
